How it works
- You know the host. Outings are extended to personal and professional contacts the host already knows.
- You send a request. Share preferred dates and party details via the request form. The host reviews and replies within 24 hours.
- You reimburse documented costs. Fuel, club guest fee, and provisions are split evenly among adults — receipt-backed, never more than actual outlay. No service fee applies.
- You board and enjoy the lake. Morning sessions run 8:00–1:30 PM. Afternoon sessions run 2:30–7:00 PM. The host captains every outing personally.
What outings look like
Groups of 2–8 adults. Pontoons and bowriders in the 21–24 foot class, sourced from the host's Freedom Boat Club membership. Departures from Chicago lakefront harbors, routing toward the skyline, Navy Pier, and the inner breakwater depending on weather and group preference.
Not a commercial service. This is a private guest program. The host holds no Merchant Mariner Credential and accepts no paying passengers. All outings are non-commercial, by invitation, and governed by the host's signed associate policy and a guest waiver executed before boarding.
